What is TCP/IP model

0

TCP/IP stands for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol.

It is a set of communication protocols used to connect devices on a network, such as the internet.

TCP is responsible for establishing a reliable connection between devices and ensuring that data is transmitted accurately and completely.

IP, on the other hand, is responsible for routing the data packets to the correct destination.

Together, TCP/IP enables devices to communicate with each other and transfer data across networks.
It is the foundation of the internet and is used by almost all devices connected
to it.
